I’m joining in the Teddy Bear FUN to help Stollery kids from my backyard!

I'm participating in Teddy Bear Fun Fest on May 10, 2025 at Rundle Park. In addition to a 5 km fun run/walk/roll, I'm ready to enjoy a day full of FUN and FUNdraising in support of Stollery kids.

The Stollery is a cause that's near and dear to my heart. With your support, we'll help kids from backyards across central and northern Alberta access some of the best physical and mental health care anywhere in the world – and have a ton of fun while we're doing it!

Teddy Bear Fun Fest 5 km

Saturday 26th Apr
Derek and I are participating in the Teddy Bear Fun Fest 5km walk with Makenna at Rundle Park. Makenna was born with Hip Displaysia and she visited the Orthopedic Surgeon department every 4 weeks for checkups alongside xrays and ultrasounds. After 20 weeks of wearing a brace full time she has been moved to only wearing the brace at night. In May she will be brace free and wait for her next check up in July. The Stollery has been a great resource for us and more families here in alberta. Derek and I are grateful to have the Stollerys support for Makenna's Journey.
